Diversity & Inclusion
The Diversity & Inclusion Committee is responsible for monitoring and evaluating local activities concerning diversity issues. The committee will lead the efforts towards increasing diversity in the chapter's membership and to publicize successful diversity programs in the local community. In addition, the committee will continually develop and/or distribute information and materials to chapter members to promote diversity in the workplace. This committee is also responsible for planning ROI every other year.

Education
The Education Committee is responsible for planning and coordinating Learning Labs for SHRM Tulsa. Learning Labs offer educational opportunities to SHRM Tulsa members (and guests) by providing current, relevant, interesting "and even entertaining" information relative to the ever-changing world of Human Resources. The Committee meets once or twice per year to decide on the topics (based on member input & suggestions). Committee members secure the speakers and facilitate the Labs.

Legislative Affairs
The Legislative Affairs Committee is responsible for monitoring and evaluating pending legislative, regulatory and legal action at the federal, state and local level that may have an impact on the management of human resources. The committee then presents the legislative report or update to the board of directors and fellow members as appropriate. SHRM Tulsa's Annual Legislative Conference is planned by this Committee.

Membership & Hospitality
The Membership & Hospitality Committee is responsible for reaching out to HR professionals or SHRM members who are not currently SHRM Tulsa members, conducting new member orientation, creating fun ways to increase membership and highlight current members through meetings, newsletters, etc. The committee is also responsible for setting up a hospitality table at program meetings to greet new members, pair new members with board members and/or seasoned SHRM Tulsa members and taking the pulse of current member satisfaction.

Programs
The Programs Committee is responsible for providing quality programs monthly for the chapter membership. The committee selects topics and speakers for program meetings, secures speakers and makes arrangements, writes articles for the newsletter describing the programs and ensures that program meetings run smoothly. This committee meets 3-4 times per year to coordinate programs.

Registration
The Registration Committee leads the registration process at each program meeting and learning lab, collects appropriate fees, distributes name badges, disseminates program handouts, directs members and guests and arrives 30 minutes early to each meeting. This is a fun committee which allows committee members to greet and interact with SHRM Tulsa members and guests.
